This is our Custom Built Frankenstein Short Block Assembly for the 93-99 with the 7 Bolt Cranks. What we do in this rebuild makes the engine capable of holding well over 450HP!! The 7 Bolt Frankenstein Build has a Remanufactured Crankshaft, our Frankenstein Machined 6 Bolt Rods, and New 2g (8.5 to 1) Pistons and Rings. The Blocks are completely machined for the build ( Decked, Bored, Honed, and Hot Tanked) along with New OEM Freeze Plugs. This is awesome motor for you guys not wanting to do a OEM Replacement or have the hassle of a 6 Bolt Swap. Core Charge of $500 applies. We can pre-build your engine, and send it when you are ready, then send your core back, and we will refund your $500 Core Charge, its that easy!

This is our Basic Short Block Rebuild for the 95-99 7 Bolt Turbo. Our "budget" rebuild requires some reusable parts from your engine, like the block and piston/rods. This does contain a new crankshaft, bearings, chrome rings, and a hot tanked and honed block. We will work with you to find the best solution for a build. All rebuilds will have New Pistons, and be bored either .020 or .040 over. Core Required ( Block, Crank, Rod/Pistons)

Rebuilt 420a Shortblock - 95-99

This is our Rebuilt Short Block Assembly for the 420a guys. These are built with the same exact care as our stage 3 crate motors! We Deck, Bore, and Hot tank the block, followed with a final hand cleaning. Then we install a reconditioned crankshaft, with new crankshaft bearings. Next we install New pistons, New Rings, on our In House Reconditioned Connecting Rods, and measure everything to make sure everything is in spec. All New Main Bolts are used, along with New Rod Bolts. All Parts are balanced within .1 Gram, so you can wind these lower ends upwards of 9k! Core Charge Required, BUT they are difficult to ship, since they weigh over 150 LBS. Crank, Piston/Rods should be shipped separate from the block.

This is our New "Jonny Walker" Short Block. This engine is for the 450-650 HP Rating, for the guys who want Forged Pistons and Rods. We use Remanufactured Crankshafts, that have been Polished and Inspected, or you can choose your upgrade!. Choose from the parts we carry, and build YOUR race motor! This is a great build for someone wanting a bit more than Frankenstein, but not wanting to go with the expensive forged crankshaft (Stage 3). Believe it or not, this does have a 3 month warranty! Also, the price is the same for 6 and 7 bolt engines!

This is our "Jonny Walker" Race Short Block, Stage 3. This is our highest HP Rating we offer, and comes as a fully forged rotating assembly. This gives you the choice of piston, rod, and crankshaft, from many different manufactures. This comes Standard with an Eagle Forged 4340 Steel Crankshaft, Mahley Pistons and Rings, and Scat Racing Full Floating Rods. Also comes with ARP Main Bolts Standard (and Aline Honed Block), Torque Plated Block, and your choice of Clevite or ACL Bearings. We will build these in any 4G63 or 4G64 block!

420a Stage 2 Short Block

This is our Stage 2 Short Block for the 420a engines. These come with Weisco Pistons, and Eagle Rods. We can prorate to JE pistons if requested. This short block is for the serious 420a owner, who is going to be putting down some serious power, and needs to be running a H Beam Rod, or wants to have a specific compression ratio. If you want, we can build this short block for a High Comp All Motor build, OR a Medium Comp Turbo Build. These come with a Reconditioned Crankshaft, New bearings, and a Bored, Decked, and Tanked Block.

This is our Do It Yourself Stock Short Block Kit for the budget 7 Bolt Builds. This includes Crankshaft Kit, NPR 6 Bolt Piston Rod Combo in any size, with Rings, and Bearings! This is just the parts to do a short block, you will want to choose a gasket kit, and probably a timing belt. Connecting Rods are completely reconditioned, with ARP Fasteners! This is good up to 375 HP! We only need Rods and Crankshaft for core. Send in early to avoid core deposit!
